Barber & Co. LLC is a construction consulting firm providing independent representation for homeowners building custom homes. We serve as the owner's advocate throughout the construction process – helping homeowners understand what's happening, evaluate important decisions and protect their interests and investment.
Our services include builder selection and proposal review, cost and payment review, change-order review, periodic site observations, project documentation and ongoing guidance throughout construction.

Builder Selection & Proposal Review
Make a more informed decision before you sign. We independently review and compare builder proposals, pricing, allowances, exclusions, payment terms, change-order provisions and other key commercial considerations. You receive a clear assessment, open questions and our recommendations before moving forward.
Ongoing Owner Representation.
Independent guidance throughout construction. We represent the homeowner throughout the project by reviewing payment requests and change orders, tracking key costs and decisions, attending agreed project meetings, conducting periodic site observations and helping identify concerns that deserve the owner's attention.
Project Advisory & Closeout
Experienced guidance when and where you need it. From individual construction questions to project closeout, Barber & Co. provides independent advisory support tailored to your needs. We can review project information, help evaluate issues and decisions and document visible punch-list items as the project approaches completion.
